Kyzr Williams, 7, drowns in South Boston.

July 31, 2016

The boy, who could not swim, was attending a summer camp run by the city at the Curley Community Center. Despite a state requirement, Williams was not wearing a life jacket. His parents subsequently bring a wrongful death suit against the city, which agrees to pay them $5 million on April 10, 2018.
